Originally from the Highlands, Calum joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2015 after spending five years at Baillie Gifford. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2009 with a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Financial Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019. Calum works closely with Graeme Dickie.

Matt is responsible for Rathbones’ stewardship activities – managing a team delivering proxy voting and engagement on ESG issues. He’s spent his 20-year career exclusively in responsible investment, with specialisms in Climate Change and Human Rights in Supply chains.

I joined Investec Wealth & Investment in June 2022 (now Rathbones) and I specialise in helping private clients build comprehensive, tailored financial plans designed to achieve their medium to long-term goals in key areas such as investment strategy, retirement planning and income, tax efficiency, personal insurance, and inheritance planning. I began my career in the Oil & Gas industry, managing Supply and Distribution, before transitioning to Financial Services over 16 years ago.
Jason Toole

Jason began his investment career at Vivian Gray & Co, which went on to become Greig Middleton and later merged to form Gerrard Ltd, and was a member of one of the leading private client teams. In 2004, Jason joined Taylor Young Investment Management Ltd as a senior investment manager managing a large and diverse client base, which included running OEIC funds. Jason is an investment director at Rathbones and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Oliver Northover

Oliver is an investment manager based in the Winchester office and manages private client, SIPP, trust and charity portfolios. He previously spent three years at HSBC Global Asset Management before joining Rathbones in 2013. Oliver graduated from the University of Durham in 2006 with a master's degree in Finance and Investment and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Matthew Carr

Matthew joined Rathbones in 2021 to spearhead the client development activities across the South and South West of England. He has responsibility for delivering the wide range of Rathbones services to our clients and is leading the development and management of intermediary relationships across the region.
Nicola Vincenti

Nicola is a client service executive for James Mayes and James Campbell-Grey, having worked at Rathbones for five years, and has responsibility in her cloud for coordinating marketing events. She is also a mental health first aider and a member of the company’s Diversity Committee. She previously managed a team in the research distribution department at Barclays Capital and worked in marketing at several institutional asset managers, including Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. She studied Italian and Classical History at Leeds University, and is fluent in Italian.

Evangelos Assimakos

Evangelos is an investment director who joined Rathbones in early 2012. He is responsible for managing a number of portfolios for private individuals, personal pensions, trusts and charities. He is a voting member of the firm’s Strategic Asset Allocation Committee and the Fixed Income Committee. For the last three years, he has also covered fixed income and commodities fund research, sitting on the Respective Collectives Committees.

I work closely with our clients, and intermediaries such as IFAs, accountants, solicitors and external providers to provide an efficient service.
Tim Ford

Tim is an investment director at Rathbones Investment Management International Ltd (RIMI), having joined the company in 2007, and manages a range of private client, trust and charity portfolios. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the Investment Advice Certificate, the Certificate in Investment Management and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. Tim sits on the Jersey Executive Committee and has responsibility for RIMI’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations.
