Her proactive approach and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of the team.

Bertie Grossart

Bertie works alongside Freddie Bennett and Jessie Finelli providing personalised investment management services to individuals, their pensions and family trusts. Prior to this he managed a team in the Investment Risk department having joined Rathbones in 2018. Bertie graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Business and Geography. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) and holds the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualifications.

She works with a number of teams within the business and is primarily responsible for all platform relationships ensuring Rathbone Funds are represented to suit the needs of our clients. Gail joined Rathbones in July 2000, having previously been based in Jersey, working within the insurance industry.

Charles is an investment director, he manages a range of private client portfolios, pension funds, trusts and charities. Charles has a degree in Business Administration and has completed the Chartered Securities Institute’s Masters in Wealth Management achieving a distinction in the final paper. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and sits on the firms Collectives Research Committee.

He also works closely in tandem with intermediaries, complementing their advice on matters such as wealth structuring, tax efficiency, and/or intergenerational planning.
Paul Kerr

Paul has worked in financial services since completing his degree at Queens University Belfast. He has since completed various qualifications and is a Chartered Fellow of the PFS; a Fellow of the CISI; and a Certified Financial Planner™. Paul began working at Rathbones in 2018 and is a Financial Planning Director & Team Leader of the Belfast Financial Planning team. Paul is also Chair of NI PFS Committee. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, enjoys dining out with friends, and plays squash.
Harry Downham

Harry is a Client Services Executive assisting a Team of Investment Directors and Investment Managers, managing over £1.2bn in assets for private clients, self-invested personal pensions, and charities. Harry joined Rathbones in 2021, having previously worked as an Investment Administrator at Quilter Cheviot for over 4 years. Harry is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), and is working towards the Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma.
James Payne

He is passionate about helping clients achieve financial independence through thoughtful, strategic planning and tailored investment advice.James joined Saunderson House after graduating with First Class Honours in Biomedicine from Lancaster University. He holds Chartered Financial Planner status and is now part of Rathbones Financial Planning, following the acquisition of Saunderson House.
Tony Milner

Tony is an investment director. He started his career in stock broking with Allied Provincial in 1987 and over a number of years worked in their Leeds, Lymington and Kendal offices before returning to Lymington to join Brewin Dolphin in 1998 where he became a divisional director. He joined Rathbones in September 2012. Tony specialises in managing portfolios for private individuals, trusts and pension funds and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
