Tom is the investment specialist for the Rathbones Multi-Asset Portfolio fund range. Joining Rathbones in April 2025, Tom brings 13 years of financial services experience. He started his career at Brewin Dolphin in investment management, where he was part of a team managing discretionary portfolios for private clients and financial advisers. He then moved into asset management, focusing on managing professional and institutional client relationships across London and the southeast of England, firstly at Sanlam Asset Management before moving to boutique asset manager Amati Global Investors.
Michael Cumberlidge

Michael is the Equity Investment specialist working across the four Rathbones equity strategies. This includes two UK focused strategies; the Rathbones Income fund and UK Opportunities fund as well as two Global funds; the Greenbank Global sustainability fund and Global opportunities fund. He joined Rathbones in October 2016 and brings 13 years of financial services experience. Michael previously worked as a specialist on the sales team focused on Rathbones ethical and sustainable products and services.
Peter Rainey

Peter is an Investment Director in the Belfast office, specialising predominantly in the management of portfolios on behalf of individuals, families, pension funds and trusts. He started his career with Cunningham Coates Stockbrokers, part of Smith & Williamson, before their subsequent takeover by Tilney. Peter joined Rathbones in 2023 having worked at Investec Wealth & Investment for five years. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Jenny previously held internships at Polar Capital, Artemis Investment Management and Odey Asset Management. Jenny holds a BSC (Hons) Economics degree from the University of Birmingham.

Michael Richardson

Michael joined Greenbank in 2021, having started his career with BlueBay Asset Management in London in 2018. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and has earned the Institute’s Masters-level qualification. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol, as well as a Master’s in Finance from University College Dublin.
Nicolas Duperrier

Nicolas works in the investor relations (IR) function at Rathbones Group Plc. He is a seasoned capital markets professional with over 20 years’ experience. He started his career at Merrill Lynch HSBC as a business development analyst before working at IR consultancies Taylor Rafferty and Shared Value, advising international blue-chip clients on their IR programmes. Nicolas then spent 13 years at global asset manager Columbia Threadneedle Investments in external communications covering EMEA, before joining Hargreaves Lansdown in an interim role ahead of its delisting from the stock market.
Paul Connolly

She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) and a Governor at Elmhurst Ballet School.
Ellie Marshall

Ellie manages investment portfolios for a range of clients including individuals, families and charitable organisations. She works primarily with Regional Director, Adam Drummond. She graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a first class honours degree in International Business and Finance and joined the Speirs & Jeffrey investment team in 2018. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.
Max Smith

Max is an Assistant Investment Manager based in the London office. He works amongst a wider team of eight other investment professionals providing bespoke investment solutions for a wide range of clients, helping them to achieve their objectives. He also works closely with intermediaries, complementing their advice on matters such as wealth structuring, tax efficiency, and intergenerational planning.
