James Goodhew

James Goodhew joined the Private Client department of Rathbones in 2004 as a graduate trainee and is now a Senior Investment Director managing a team of 5 and responsible for over £500m of client portfolios.

James is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, won the Wealth Management Association award for achieving a top Distinction in the Private Client Diploma Examination in 2006, was named one of PAM’s ‘Top 40 under 40’ in 2022 and most recently featured in the Spear’s Wealth Management top high net worth advisors in 2025.

James is a member of the Diversifiers Research Committee and Investment Companies Task Force Committee at Rathbones. He has also sat on the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Review Panel.
