Amanda Cook

Amanda is a Financial Planning Director at Rathbones, helping individuals, business owners and families make informed financial decisions and plan confidently for the future. She joined Rathbones in 2019 and has more than 20 years’ experience in financial advice.

Amanda advises on a wide range of financial planning matters, including retirement planning, estate and inheritance tax planning, charitable giving, later-life planning and planning for the cost of long-term care. She works with individuals, business owners and families at different stages of life, helping them make informed decisions about retirement, supporting future generations, planning for care needs and passing wealth on efficiently in line with their wishes.

As a Chartered Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a SOLLA Accredited Later Life Adviser, Amanda has specialist expertise in later-life planning and long-term care funding. She has been a SOLLA Accredited Later Life Adviser for more than 10 years and is the Dorset and Hampshire Regional Coordinator for the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA). Amanda regularly works alongside solicitors, accountants, trustees, investment managers and other professional advisers to help ensure that clients receive coordinated advice.
