David Turner

David Turner writes, edits, and produces graphics for Rathbones Investment Management, covering both financial markets and economics.

Before joining Rathbones in 2021, initially with a specialism in responsible investment, he’d enjoyed a varied career as a journalist and writer. This included ten years as a correspondent at the Financial Times. While there, he wrote news and analysis pieces on economics, public policy and – during a stint in Tokyo – Japan’s financial markets and economy.

David has also written books on both history and nature for Yale University Press and other publishers. </p>

He read History at St. John’s College, Cambridge.
