Louise Carman

Louise has 20 years' experience in private client, trust, and estate services. She began her career in 2006 in the private client department of a Big 4 accountancy firm and has specialised in trusts and estates since 2017. Louise joined Rathbones Trust Company in 2023 as Trust Compliance Manager.

Louise studied mathematical sciences at St Peter’s College, Oxford. She completed the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) qualification before progressing to the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) examinations.

In her role as Trust Compliance Manager Louise leads a team responsible for trust accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance. She ensures statutory requirements are met and supports trustees through accurate reporting and robust financial governance, helping maintain high standards of transparency and control.
