Rathbones, one of the UK’s leading wealth and asset management groups, has been named Wealth Manager of the Year at the prestigious City AM awards.
The award, presented at a ceremony on 6 May at the Guildhall in London, underscores Rathbones’ strength and momentum as it pursues its ambition of becoming the best wealth manager in the UK, by far.
Rathbones was recognised for a combination of its long-held British heritage and contemporary, client-centric approach, underpinned by a strengthened leadership team, following its successful integration with Investec Wealth and Investment (IW&I). It also evidenced its commitment to high-quality client service, clear counsel through periods of uncertainty and deep expertise in investment management and financial planning.
The City AM award follows further success for Rathbones at the City of London Wealth Management Awards last week, where Senior Investment Director Jane Sydenham was named Commentator of the Year and Head of Diversity & Inclusion Xanic Jones was presented with the Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year award.
Commenting, Simonetta Rigo, Chief Client Officer said: “I’m delighted to see Rathbones recognised across the industry and wider business community. These awards reflect our commitment to becoming the best wealth manager in the UK by far, to help more people invest their money well so they can live well.”
Rathbones has also been shortlisted for Private Client Asset Manager of the Year in the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards, which will be held next week.
